| I posted on another board but thought I may try here as well. What process is involved getting a mare approved? Who do I contact? Thanks, Peg |

Contact the office in OR. More than likely she will need to go to a Keuring site. _________________ Tracy

| I spoke with the office- my mares are from a registry that is approved. What about the foals? They told me that they don't have to be branded, but what registry are the foals? Peg |

If your mare is with an approved outside registry, she doesn't need to be inspected. If you breed to an approved KWPN Dutch Warmblood stallion then you will get a KWPN Foalbook foal just like all the other KWPN Dutch mares do. It is a nice process. The KWPN does not brand babies. When they are 3 years and older you can present them for studbook and get a brand there.
If I can help in any way, let me know. You can also email me directly. The KWPN office is very helpful too. www.kwpn-na.org office@kwpn-na.org
